Two further opportunities: play your part in shaping future healthcare in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and mid-Wales

Following the success of the interactive NHS Future Fit workshops in September, an additional two workshops have been planned for November. The workshops, which will be held in Shrewsbury and Telford, will give local people the opportunity to play their part in helping to shape how hospital care is delivered for the next 20 years across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and mid-Wales.

The first workshop will be held on Friday 7 November between 10am and 2pm at The Lord Hill Hotel in
Shrewsbury and the second workshop will take place on Saturday 8 November between 12.30pm and 4.30pm at Meeting Point House, Telford Town Centre.

Dr Caron Morton and David Evans, Joint Senior Responsible Officers for NHS Future Fit, said: “We have held a number of workshops across a range of locations and have generated excellent feedback for the programme in this pre-consultation stage. These two additional workshops will give local people, who weren’t able to make the September workshops, another opportunity to share their views.”

Workshops are the same format as the September ones and include:

• looking at the long list of options and giving feedback on how they’ll impact upon local people
• discussions about how NHS services need to work in the future
• key information about the NHS Future Fit programme.
